Picture a sprawling dog park with over 400 acres of trails and multiple entrances. It was in this enchanting setting where Marcella and Eli’s paths converged, setting the stage for a love story that would make any dog lover’s heart skip a beat.
Their story began with a chance encounter at the dog park, where their furry companions – Rocky, Luna, and Duke – wasted no time in becoming fast friends. As the dogs frolicked and played, Marcella and Eli found themselves drawn to one another, struck by the serendipitous nature of their meeting. Little did they know, this would be the start of a journey that would lead to a breathtaking proposal. After meeting in the dog park, the couple went hiking almost every weekend- one ending in Eli proposing with their pups as witnesses.
The mountains held a special place in Marcella and Eli’s hearts, not just because of their breathtaking beauty, but because it was the backdrop against which their love story unfolded. They dreamed of a wedding that would capture the essence of the love they found amidst the peaks and valleys of Colorado’s natural beauty. La Joya Dulce, a mountain ranch felt like destiny from the moment they set foot on its grounds. Owner, Kathie Jacobsen, and a talented team of vendors created a day that would blend simple elegance with a retro vibe, mirroring their unique love story. The most beautiful beginnings come from the most unexpected places.
